How to use the Setel referral code
- Download Setel and start a new account registration.
- Enter zhhgk in the referral code field before completing registration.
- Complete your phone verification and registration.
- Make eligible purchases through Setel totalling at least RM30. Fuel at Setel-enabled PETRONAS stations in Malaysia and Kedai Mesra purchases count.
- Check payment history on the Pay page after reward verification.
A single qualifying RM30 purchase counts, or you can combine smaller eligible purchases. Adding money to your wallet alone does not meet the listed purchase requirement.
Eligibility, deadline and official sources
Setel is a Malaysian payment app for fuel and other services. This referral reward applies to eligible fuel and Kedai Mesra purchases; other app services are not listed as qualifying transactions in the referral terms.
You must be at least 18, reside in Malaysia and register a new account with the code. Your account and mine must be active when the credit is granted. Setel can revoke credit if qualifying purchases are cancelled, changed or refunded.
The official referral terms give a campaign period of 20 August 2025 to 31 December 2026. The promotion page still says 30 September 2026. Clause 7.8 says the terms prevail over promotional materials, so this guide uses the terms' deadline.

Who can receive the RM3 Setel Credit?
New users aged 18 or above who reside in Malaysia can qualify by registering with the code and spending a cumulative RM30 on eligible purchases through Setel. Both accounts must remain active when credited.
Can existing users enter the code after registration?
The referral terms require the code during new account registration. Do not assume it can be added afterwards. Existing users can share their own referral code.
Does the RM30 need to be one purchase?
No. Eligible fuel purchases at Setel-enabled PETRONAS stations in Malaysia and Kedai Mesra purchases through Setel can add up to RM30. One qualifying RM30 purchase also counts. Wallet top-ups alone are not listed as qualifying purchases.
Where can I find my own Setel referral code?
Open Profile in Setel and select Refer a friend. You can share your unique code or invite contacts from that screen.
When will I receive the reward?
Setel states that credit is granted after 48 hours for verification following a successful referral. It may show Processing while being verified. This is not a promise of payment within 48 hours.
What if my reward is missing?
Check that the code was entered during registration and that eligible purchases total RM30. Update the app and check payment history on the Pay page. If the reward remains missing after verification, contact Setel through in-app customer service or hello@setel.com. Cancelled, changed or refunded purchases can lead to revoked credit.
When does the Setel referral campaign end?
